Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Implement SRE practices to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of datacenter services.
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management.
- Build, deploy, maintain, and optimize observability and telemetry platforms for real-time monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and reporting.
- Analyze system performance and resource utilization and implement optimization practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis, post-mortem reviews, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and hardware and software vendors on observability, reliability, and technology integration.
- Ensure observability and reliability solutions comply with security policies and industry standards.
- Maintain documentation and continuously improve datacenter service reliability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in backend software development.
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems.
- Preferred: proficiency with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Preferred: experience with SRE practices and tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Preferred: strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and their observability and reliability services.
- Preferred: strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
