Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components and data pipelines.
- Develop workflows within cloud-based environments using Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Integrate data sources and maintain data quality and consistency across platforms.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Implement best practices to improve software quality and delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience developing and optimizing data pipelines and workflows in cloud-based environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing and big data processing.
- Ability to integrate data sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for data analytics and software deployment processes.
- Data Governance and Knowledge Management Administrative Process Design are preferred skills.
