Responsibilities

  • Develop state-of-the-art, highly realistic autonomous-vehicle simulations using foundation models
  • Collaborate with Waymo Oxford teams to use large models to improve simulation realism
  • Design experiments that advance autonomous-vehicle simulations
  • Develop metrics to measure the realism of simulated worlds
  • Train and evaluate large models and integrate them into the simulator and downstream applications
  • Help hire research engineers from diverse backgrounds
  • Productionize research ideas as part of a collaborative research engineering team

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in applied deep learning
  • 4+ years of coding and design experience
  • Experience solving complex production problems with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques
  • Experience taking research into production
  • Expertise in data analysis or data science
