Base Salary
$203k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy real-time AI workload management systems, including model routing and latency reduction.
- Research and implement token compression, batch capacity, fine-tuning, and other cost-efficiency strategies.
- Build automated regression and validation pipelines for AI agents to ensure generated code is production-ready, secure, and reliable.
- Lead specific features, drive consensus across multifunctional teams, and mentor peers.
- Own features from research and design through production deployment, security, monitoring, and post-mortem analysis.
- Introduce and productize agentic capabilities for business applications on the Circuit platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of related experience, or a master’s degree plus 4 years, or a PhD plus 1 year, in Computer Science or a highly technical field.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining scalable software systems in production rather than only building standalone proofs of concept.
- Deep hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, including model fine-tuning, RAG, or agentic frameworks and evaluating cost, quality, and performance trade-offs.
- Strong software engineering skills, including clean maintainable code, code reviews, and automated regression testing.
- A consistent record of technical ownership across project conception, deployment, and production lifecycle management.
- Strong critical-thinking and technical trade-off documentation skills.
- Preferred experience with real-time AI workload management, custom LLM fine-tuning, AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot, agentic application evaluation and productization, and technical mentorship.
- Strong communication and influence skills for explaining complex technical trade-offs to product management and non-technical partners.
