Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and scripts using C#, Selenium, RestSharp, Appium, and related technologies.
- Lead automation framework enhancements and contribute to CI/CD automation infrastructure.
- Create comprehensive test cases, identify test coverage gaps, and integrate automation into the overall quality strategy.
- Investigate automation failures, manage production issues, report test metrics, and resolve bottlenecks with development teams.
- Develop new quality tools and infrastructure and drive improvements to software development and testing processes.
- Conduct peer code reviews, mentor automation engineers, and provide technical guidance on critical issues and test cases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, customers, QA teams, and scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or IT-related field.
- At least 3 years of programming experience and 5 years of experience building automation tools and web application automation.
- Experience with C#, Selenium, RestSharp, SQL, Azure, and Git.
- Experience building Azure pipelines and working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Competence in object-oriented programming, reusable library development, design patterns, multi-tier architecture, troubleshooting, and database queries.
- Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, influence decisions, document test cases, assess risks, and estimate work.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, collaboration, client engagement, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, experience leading or working with offshore teams, and experience with SQL and database query development.
