Responsibilities
- Drive large, abstract engineering projects from initiation through completion by building consensus, delegating effectively, and coordinating stakeholders
- Design and build the AI layer powering autonomous detection, RAG-backed investigation, and auto-remediation workflows
- Develop and productionize LLMs, graph-based reasoning engines, and streaming feature pipelines operating on billions of security events
- Own evaluation and reliability through prompt libraries, fine-tuning, red-team testing, latency budgets, and fallback strategies
- Collaborate with Product, Detection Engineering, and Customer Success to develop robust ML- and rule-based detections from real-world attacker behavior
- Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation, tool-calling agents, and multimodal models using text, logs, and graphs
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in software development and engineering production systems using Python, Go, Rust, or Java
- Deep knowledge of agentic systems design, including centralized or decentralized multi-agent system architectures
- Experience with graph structures and graph databases
- Hands-on experience building agents, orchestration frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph or Agno AGI, and evaluation harnesses
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems
- Strong API design fundamentals, including REST and gRPC, and knowledge of distributed systems
- Clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, consensus building, and experience guiding multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Prior cybersecurity experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, or MDR is preferred
- Experience driving high-impact engineering initiatives in high-growth startups or enterprise SaaS is preferred
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure security is preferred
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant AWS/GCP Professional Engineer, Kubernetes, or security-related certifications are preferred
