Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of the data platform by migrating data pipelines from legacy systems to Databricks.
- Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate migration efforts and validate code quality.
- Design and optimize scalable data workflows using Airflow and Databricks.
- Implement validation and testing strategies to ensure data quality during migration.
- Enhance observability and monitoring practices to improve platform reliability.
- Apply contact center analytics to build systems that provide customer insights and business intelligence.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in building and supporting distributed systems and large-scale data platforms.
- Hands-on experience in migrating enterprise data platforms from legacy technologies to cloud-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the Databricks ecosystem and experience with SQL workload migration.
- Advanced Python programming skills for ETL development and experience with Airflow.
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a globally distributed environment.
