Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, bring up, and maintain Ericsson Router 6000 switch and router products.
- Design and implement software features for embedded networking platforms.
- Participate in feature analysis, software design, coding, code review, unit testing, feature testing, debugging, and product maintenance.
- Develop and test software related to drivers, OAM, IPsec, MACsec, and security.
- Contribute to Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, automated build, smoke testing, regression testing, and code-quality workflows.
- Apply secure software development practices including secure coding, static analysis, vulnerability management, and security-oriented testing.
- Explore AI-assisted development for test generation, code review, issue analysis, and engineering knowledge retrieval.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and solid software development fundamentals.
- Experience with Embedded Linux OS and Linux development environments.
- Understanding of networking technologies and protocols, especially Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet switching and routing.
- Familiarity with IP networking, OAM, chipset drivers, or network security is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, automated testing, or software quality tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI platforms, RAG systems, vector databases, AI-assisted software engineering, and multi-agent systems is preferred.
- Understanding of AI infrastructure concepts including model routing, caching, observability, evaluation, security, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, independent learning, collaboration, integrity, and proactive working skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
