Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Assist with responsive frontend components using Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Write SQL queries and stored procedures and interact with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Integrate applications with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and third-party APIs.
- Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot bugs, and address performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in peer code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and automated testing tools in development and deployment workflows.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other AI developer productivity tools responsibly while continuing to learn engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience or coding bootcamp graduation.
- 2+ years of relevant software development experience, including internships, academic projects, or professional entry-level roles.
- Foundational knowledge of C#, object-oriented programming, .NET/.NET Core, and web API development.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and basic indexing.
- Hands-on understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with Angular or React.
- Understanding of RESTful architecture, HTTP status codes, and JSON/XML data formats.
- Basic proficiency with Git and pull request workflows.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka or MSMQ, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Docker, cloud platforms, and GitHub Copilot is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, collaboration, and willingness to learn are required.
