Responsibilities
- Build and enhance web applications supporting AI-driven product discovery, search, recommendation, and personalization.
- Develop reusable UI components and consumer-facing applications using React and modern web technologies.
- Integrate GenAI, recommendation, and search capabilities into customer experiences with AI/ML and data engineers.
- Build search and discovery experiences using Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs, microservices, and enterprise platforms.
- Contribute to backend services and integration components supporting frontend applications and business workflows.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and reliable.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools and practices to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery effectiveness.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience building modern web applications and digital consumer experiences.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience building responsive, scalable, and high-performing web applications.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, API development, and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Azure AI Search, or similar search platforms.
- Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching solutions such as Redis.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka is desirable.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, and application performance.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, conversational experiences, or AI-powered applications is a plus.
