Responsibilities
- Define the technology roadmap, target-state architecture and engineering guardrails for Economic Crime Platforms.
- Lead the strategy, architecture and delivery of investigation, machine learning, agentic and analytics platforms.
- Guide trusted data products, engineering intelligence and reusable platform capabilities.
- Champion cloud-native architecture, automation and infrastructure as code.
- Embed security, data quality, privacy, lineage, observability and risk management throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Strengthen engineering excellence through DevSecOps, DataOps, automated testing, continuous delivery and reliability practices.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Architecture, Risk, Security and Service Management to translate complex needs into practical outcomes.
- Mentor engineers, guide complex technical decisions and uplift engineering capability across the platform.
Requirements
- Accomplished engineering leader with deep technical expertise, architectural judgement and enterprise influence.
- Experience leading architecture and delivery of complex, enterprise-scale engineering or data platforms.
- Experience designing cloud-native solutions using AWS, containers, serverless technologies and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with lakehouse platforms, data mesh and domain-aligned data products.
- Experience delivering reliable ingestion, integration, application programming interface, workflow or decision-engine capabilities.
- Experience embedding secure engineering, data governance, privacy, observability and operational resilience in regulated environments.
- Experience enabling machine learning, automation, generative artificial intelligence or agentic use cases through trusted platform capabilities.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, translate business, risk and technology priorities into engineering strategies, and coach technical leaders.
