Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build multi-tenant backend services and platform components on AWS or other public cloud platforms.
- Design, implement, and consume APIs, microservices, asynchronous service communication, and automation using Python.
- Develop frontend applications and reusable UI components using TypeScript, Vite, responsive design, routing, and state management.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including RBAC, ABAC, PKI-related capabilities, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Design and optimize relational databases, including SQL, triggers, functions, and stored procedures.
- Create technical designs from requirements, present recommendations, and collaborate with engineering stakeholders, MBSE, and Test teams.
- Investigate and resolve production issues and support customer and partner integration activities.
- Use containerized deployment and orchestration tools and maintain unit, integration, and automated testing workflows.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, bachelor's degree and 8+ years, master's degree and 6+ years, or doctoral degree and 3+ years; four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and maintain the required clearance.
- Proficiency with Python backend development, TypeScript, frontend application development, Vite, and modern component-based web practices.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, PostgreSQL, microservices, backend service architectures, authentication, authorization, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, automated test workflows, Kafka, and Unix shell scripting.
- Working knowledge of PKI concepts, asynchronous messaging architectures, and Zero Trust software development principles.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to collaborate with MBSE and Test teams, present technical recommendations, clarify requirements, and learn evolving tools and frameworks.
