Responsibilities
- Design and develop software tools for infrastructure testing and verification.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks for infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to identify and resolve reliability issues.
- Automate issue remediation and improve service resiliency, scalability, and system self-healing capabilities.
- Identify and resolve performance issues and conduct capacity planning.
- Participate in incident reviews and assist with root cause analysis.
- Deliver SRE solutions in a globally distributed, multi-cloud hybrid environment.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes administration, modern CI/CD techniques, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency with monitoring, metrics gathering, APM, container management, and log collection tools.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
- Preferred: experience with performance engineering, chaos engineering, CI/CD pipelines, complex system architectures, cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalability.
