Base Salary
$126k - $423k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on reinforcement learning and its training infrastructure, including self-play RL, VLA post-training, and closed-loop RL using neural simulation for autonomous-driving applications.
- Collaborate with Research Scientists and interns on research publications for top-tier conferences.
- Work with ADAS, data, and simulation engineering teams to deploy end-to-end algorithms into mass-production vehicles.
- Develop neural simulation and generation capabilities for autonomy-development tools.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with at least one relevant area, including self-play reinforcement learning, imitation or behavior learning, VLA post-training, large-scale closed-loop RL in driving simulation, or large-scale RL training infrastructure.
- Technical experience with Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed machine-learning model training.
- Strong engineering and research skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for scalable autonomy and robotics systems used in the real world.
- Industry experience in relevant topics, preferably self-driving, is preferred.
- An MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, autonomy, robotics, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Experience building and shipping customer-focused software frameworks or tools is preferred.
