Base Salary
$183k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy software and machine learning components for behavior prediction and environmental interactions.
- Build scalable software for inference and decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Develop pipelines that process time-series and sensor data and transform raw logs into structured training datasets.
- Create testing and evaluation frameworks for simulated environments and measure model accuracy against real-world ground truth data.
- Implement and refine state estimation and decision-planning algorithms using generative or deep learning methods.
- Integrate models into production systems with low-latency performance and reliable upstream-module interaction.
- Develop and maintain tools, libraries, and infrastructure for model visualization, experiment tracking, and automated continuous model delivery.
- Maintain code quality through modular design, mocks, regression tests, and rigorous testing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in the job offered or in an occupation where the required experience was gained.
- Employer will accept knowledge gained through employment experience, research, or academic courses of study.
- Proficiency in Python and Go or C++.
- Experience building scalable software systems and data-intensive pipelines.
- Experience building and training models using deep learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of data modeling and SQL.
- Experience with modern version control using Git.
- Knowledge of deep neural networks, generative models, or reinforcement learning.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration tools for deploying and scaling software services.

- Primarily in-office work five days per week, with occasional remote flexibility for full-time employees.
- The role is based at an Applied Intuition office; contractor positions are not subject to the five-day in-office expectation.
