Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded AUTOSAR Classic BSW and low-level software in C/C++ for ADAS ECUs.
- Configure, integrate, and debug AUTOSAR modules for diagnostics, CAN communication, failure management, and PDM.
- Collaborate with global system, hardware, and application teams to integrate BSW with radar, camera, sensor-fusion, and other ADAS applications.
- Participate in requirements analysis, architecture and design, implementation, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation.
- Optimize software performance and memory usage for resource-constrained embedded systems.
- Conduct code reviews and follow Bosch coding guidelines, MISRA rules where applicable, and automotive software best practices.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests and support SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing.
- Support ISO 26262 functional-safety compliance and Automotive SPICE processes, work products, and assessments.
- Use CANoe, CANalyzer, debuggers, emulators, and simulators for development and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–10 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong C and C++ programming skills for embedded systems.
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic architecture and BSW, plus Automotive SPICE knowledge.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, low-level drivers, and embedded RTOS concepts.
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics, fault-management software, AUTOSAR DEM and DCM, and CAN, Ethernet, or LIN communication.
- Familiarity with ISO 14229, ISO 15765, ISO 14230, and ISO 26262.
- Familiarity with CANoe, CANalyzer, and issue or requirements tracking tools such as Jira and DOORS.
- Prior ADAS ECU experience involving radar, cameras, sensor fusion, or braking and steering controllers is a strong plus.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate in global teams.
