Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for automotive applications.
- Develop software using Embedded C/C++ on embedded platforms.
- Work with microcontrollers, embedded operating systems, device drivers, and communication protocols.
- Analyze software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, optimization, and software integration.
- Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure software quality through development, testing, and documentation practices.
- Work with automotive standards and development processes such as AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ISO 26262, or cybersecurity, depending on the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in embedded software development.
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, memory, interrupts, peripherals, and real-time software concepts.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, Embedded Linux, Linux BSP, Yocto, RTOS, device drivers, low-level software, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, automotive communication, diagnostics, UDS, functional safety, cybersecurity, or software integration, testing, and validation.
- Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer, Lauterbach, JTAG, or equivalent debugging and development tools is advantageous.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, English communication, and international collaboration skills.
- Automotive domain experience is highly preferred.
