Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and design integration architectures between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Develop integrations and process automations using external REST APIs and ServiceNow Integration Hub.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, workflows, business rules, UI functionality, ACLs, catalog items, and related platform solutions.
- Design scalable ServiceNow solutions with product owners and stakeholders, and translate business requirements into platform capabilities.
- Handle incidents according to published SLAs, complete maintenance tasks, and resolve integration or platform-health issues.
- Update existing integrations for changing business requirements and system updates.
- Document business requirements, technical solutions, process flows, and use cases, and provide training for knowledge gaps.
- Drive continual service improvement through best practices, reusable assets, and refined implementation processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of development experience with scripting or coding, preferably JavaScript.
- At least 2–3 years of ServiceNow development experience designing, creating, and configuring integrations.
- Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules in an enterprise environment, including workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items, CMS, and group delegation.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting and development using JavaScript and Jelly, along with XML and HTML.
- Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile Scrum, code development methodologies, test cases, test execution, and deployment.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, CMDB, and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and SOAP, WSDL, and REST web-service integrations.
- Understanding of Service Management processes and ability to convert business requirements into ServiceNow capabilities.
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
- BA/BS degree in information technology or a related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and successfully demonstrated experience.
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Integration Hub microcertification, experience with Software and Hardware Asset Management, a Certified Implementation Specialist certification, and experience with JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, conflict-management, prioritization, and independent-work skills.
