Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale data infrastructure for live telemetry from autonomous drones.
- Build and evolve Databricks and Palantir Foundry environments for data querying and dashboard creation.
- Develop data systems for predictive analytics and flight telemetry analysis.
- Create AI-powered tools for data analysis and pipeline generation.
- Define and enforce best practices for data quality and governance.
- Collaborate with various teams to unify data flow across the company.
- Lead and mentor data engineers and analysts in architectural best practices.
- Implement monitoring and observability for critical data systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in software engineering and 2+ years in data engineering.
- Deep experience with Databricks for building pipelines and managing datasets.
- Proven track record of operating scalable data platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one modern programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical direction and mentor teammates.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted data workflows and tools.
- Bonus: Experience in robotics, IoT, or autonomous systems.
