Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain code test coverage for software modifying the PARCS ground-based radar software baseline.
- Design, develop, and document unit tests for conversion into version-unique tests supporting PARCS software release delivery testing.
- Assist developers with laboratory testing and debugging of application software in a classified lab.
- Support system integration, testing, development, and execution of complex systems.
- Analyze and help plan, design, develop, and use electronic data processing systems for testing PARCS software.
- Develop technical solutions to complex testing problems using ingenuity and creativity.
- Troubleshoot systems and coordinate with engineers responsible for sustaining operational and test systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and two or more years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience testing backend host software and frontend graphical user interfaces.
- Experience with Unix and Windows systems.
- Basic understanding of thread mechanics, including blocking versus non-blocking operations and synchronous versus asynchronous tasks.
- Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Preferred: Experience sustaining UEWR/PARCS or other strategic warning and surveillance radar systems, including RF hardware/software design and test methodologies.
- Preferred: Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps development environments.
- Preferred: Experience with the Solaris operating system.
