Base Salary
$192k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design robust, scalable distributed systems supporting provider growth, acquisition, onboarding, and supply management.
- Build and maintain production web applications across frontend, backend APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Lead initiatives across multiple teams and influence technical strategy without direct authority.
- Drive projects from discovery and design through implementation, launch, and post-launch support.
- Use AI-assisted software development tools as part of regular engineering workflows.
- Contribute to a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Align technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared product and engineering vision.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related professional software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Strong full-stack engineering experience with modern frontend frameworks, backend APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives and influencing technical strategy without direct authority.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools, such as Claude Code.
- Strong communication skills and experience mentoring engineers.
- Preferred: experience building AI-powered engineering workflows, tooling, or automation adopted by others and measurably improving development speed or quality.
- Preferred: experience driving projects end-to-end from discovery through post-launch support.
- Preferred: experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup and helping scale an engineering organization.
