Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support modern web applications and APIs using React and Java technologies.
- Develop React user interface components with attention to usability, performance, and accessibility.
- Design and develop Java-based microservices and REST APIs for business applications and integrations.
- Apply secure coding standards and comply with internal governance and control requirements.
- Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Investigate defects and production incidents through root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, quality engineers, and support teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with React, including Hooks, state management, component design, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with Core Java and RESTful service development using Spring or Spring Boot.
- Understanding of API design principles, integration patterns, and JSON-based contracts.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL query development.
- Strong software engineering practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and Git version control.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience working across development and analysis activities in Agile delivery teams.
- Knowledge of finance or banking technology environments is advantageous.
