Responsibilities
- Research emerging fraud and abuse patterns and translate findings into detection ideas.
- Build and test machine learning features for identity, behavior, and transaction fraud products.
- Build and maintain pipelines supporting ML model training, evaluation, and inference.
- Write clean, well-tested code alongside engineers using modern AI-assisted development tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production ML systems, data pipelines, and model performance.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Coursework or project experience with Python; R or Java is a plus.
- Exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Foundational knowledge of statistics, probability, or experimental methods.
- Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, collaboration, and fluent written and oral English communication.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Preferred qualifications include projects involving fraud detection or risk modeling, exposure to APIs or backend services, experience with large datasets, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
