Responsibilities
- Implement and validate physics-based sensor simulation models.
- Build photorealistic scene rendering pipelines for sensor placement.
- Develop synthetic data generation pipelines producing annotated ground-truth.
- Implement domain randomization strategies to improve sim-to-real transfer.
- Collaborate with perception teams to meet dataset requirements.
- Lead the design and validation of high-fidelity sensor render pipelines.
- Architect the sensor rendering strategy for the Perception team.
- Own the sim-to-real validation framework and define benchmarks.
- Drive 3D asset and environment pipeline strategy.
- Mentor engineers on rendering best practices and synthetic data methodology.
Requirements
- Degree in CS, Robotics, or EE with 3+ years (Experienced) or 5+ years (Senior) in simulation, rendering, or perception.
- Strong Python skills for building production-grade simulation tooling.
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Unreal Engine, Blender, or Gazebo.
- Solid understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) and 3D assets.
- Experience with synthetic dataset generation systems and domain randomization strategies.
- Familiarity with generative image AI and its application in synthetic data generation.
