Base Salary
$176k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and launch mobile products and services that solve customer problems.
- Collaborate with engineers, Product, and Design to deliver projects from idea through release.
- Partner strategically with Product and Design to influence the roadmap and propose architectural improvements.
- Define, decompose, and lead complex projects, potentially coordinating other engineers.
- Guide technical trade-offs and recommend pragmatic, scalable solutions.
- Perform code reviews, design reviews, and write high-quality tests.
- Maintain strong standards for code quality, operational rigor, monitoring, alerting, and runbooks.
- Become a subject matter expert for one or more services in the domain.
- Create technical documentation including diagrams, service descriptions, decisions, and runbooks.
- Identify and remove developer-experience bottlenecks.
- Mentor and oversee junior engineers and support their technical and career growth.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional iOS development experience building, architecting, and maintaining production-grade applications shipped to the App Store.
- Deep expertise in modern Swift practices, including SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
- Strong understanding of scalable mobile architecture and the Apple deployment ecosystem.
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders.
- Mastery of computer science fundamentals and iOS design patterns and best practices.
- Experience leading projects from planning through release and distributing work across a team.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
- Experience with AI tools.
- Experience integrating with RESTful server-side services.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for mentoring and helping junior engineers grow.
