Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to design and implement layered security architectures using Zero Trust and Defense-in-Depth principles.
- Act as a subject matter expert for design and implementation details across the security organization.
- Drive implementation and integration projects for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Ensure secure integration of a large on-premises environment with public cloud platforms.
- Architect and implement secure data transfer, endpoint protection, and patch management solutions.
- Lead the automation of security operations using Python and Bash.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex incident escalations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution.
- Develop and oversee security compliance strategies adhering to financial regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT security with a proven history of building and automating complex solutions.
- Associate Architect-level knowledge of AWS and Azure security services.
- Hands-on experience with on-premises and cloud identity platforms.
- Mastery of Zero Trust, Defense-in-Depth, network segmentation, and firewall management.
- Expertise in automation and orchestration tools like Python, Bash, and Terraform.
- Experience with secrets management platforms from major cloud providers.
- Hands-on experience with advanced forensic analysis and SIEM platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with financial regulations and frameworks.
