Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end SEO and AEO features from development through experimentation and rollout.
- Develop full-stack features that improve search visibility, AI answer engine performance, organic traffic, and user experience.
- Contribute to data pipelines for SEO and AEO data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Write performant, observable, and cost-aware code and resolve system bottlenecks using logging and metrics.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and marketing partners to translate user needs into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of software engineering experience with proficiency in React, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
- Ability to build and launch complete features end to end with minimal oversight.
- Experience with distributed systems and data engineering, including pipeline design, schema optimization, and data quality, with exposure to Airflow or DBT.
- Ability to improve performance and observability through efficient code, logging, and metrics.
- Strong product mindset and ability to translate user needs into technical requirements and business outcomes.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: SEO/AEO experience or familiarity with SEO best practices, LLM answer engine optimization, Schema.org, search crawling and indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI-powered search engines and LLM content consumption and surfacing.
- Preferred: experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, Hadoop, NoSQL databases, Snowflake, Redshift, experimentation, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Preferred: experience partnering with marketing teams on growth initiatives and addressing technical debt.
