Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary DevOps point of contact for assigned GATD service teams across multiple locations.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and observability platforms for reliable delivery and proactive issue detection.
- Automate production and non-production operations and manage containerized workloads.
- Provision and manage public-cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and execute migrations, upgrades, end-of-life activities, and platform version management.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, secret management, and secure configuration practices into pipelines and infrastructure.
- Own critical incidents from immediate response through root cause analysis and long-term systemic fixes.
- Evaluate and implement AI-driven tooling and emerging technologies to improve productivity and operational quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience independently handling high-traffic production systems across server, middleware, database, and application layers.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools; artifact management experience with Nexus or Artifactory is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with public-cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, including setup, management, migration, and VPC networking.
- Strong UNIX/Linux system administration skills and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, tracing, and log analysis.
- Proficiency in Shell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
- Working knowledge of DevOps security fundamentals including vulnerability scanning, secret management, and secure configuration.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional, multinational teams; English proficiency is essential.
- Flexibility to provide emergency on-call support outside business hours.
- Preferred experience includes hybrid or multi-cloud architecture, Istio, Argo CD, AI-driven DevOps tooling, release or change coordination, and Couchbase, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of online advertising or marketing businesses and related technologies is preferred.
