Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IAM applications and automation using AWS, Azure, Teleport, and Terraform.
- Drive IAM projects from requirements definition and solution architecture through rollout and operationalization.
- Design scalable access models and role-assignment patterns across cloud, Kubernetes, SaaS, and internal systems.
- Operationalize access logging, metrics, and reporting in the organization’s SIEM tool.
- Design and improve user access review processes to meet compliance requirements while reducing approver burden.
- Identify high-risk permissions and misuse paths, implement mitigations, and drive adoption with partner teams.
- Create procedures, runbooks, and automation that standardize access decisions and reduce reliance on tribal knowledge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining IAM products or tools.
- Experience writing production-ready, scalable software and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of IAM practices including least privilege, privilege escalation paths, separation of duties, break-glass access, and auditability.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is preferred.
- Ability to use AI coding tools to build reliable automation.
