Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Python.
- Develop and work with APIs, including RESTful APIs using technologies such as Flask.
- Work with message and data brokers, including Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Work with NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Use GitLab for code management, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
- Apply secure coding, authentication, authorization, input validation, secure API usage, and sensitive-data protection practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to problem-solving.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in application development using Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and scripting.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience working with APIs and RESTful API development.
- Understanding of message and data brokers such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with GitLab, including GitLab Actions for CI/CD workflows, code management, and version control.
- Knowledge of application security best practices.
- Familiarity with C++ or Java is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts, large language models, and data science is appreciated.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
