
Digital Solutions Engineer – Operational Applications

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain operational applications supporting manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, warehouse, logistics, and operational workflows.
- Build reusable, responsive, secure, accessible, and intuitive application components for frontline users across multiple devices.
- Develop digital work instructions, checklists, inspection applications, maintenance workflows, inventory transactions, approvals, and task-management solutions.
- Support offline capabilities and reliable synchronization in environments with limited network connectivity.
- Integrate applications with SAP, MES, enterprise data platforms, AI services, and backend APIs.
- Embed intelligent recommendations, conversational assistants, and contextual insights into operational workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams to understand operational needs and improve adoption.
- Evaluate and prototype capabilities involving mobility, wearable devices, barcode and QR technologies, cameras, voice interaction, and AI-assisted user experiences.
- Participate in Agile development, architecture discussions, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mobile Computing, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing enterprise applications using modern web, mobile, or cross-platform technologies.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and enterprise application integration.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Passion for building digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and user productivity.
- Preferred experience with Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI, enterprise mobility, offline-first development, user-centered design, operational workflow optimization, manufacturing or industrial applications, AI-enabled user experiences, cloud-native development, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, or Connected Worker technologies.
