[IT Delivery Center] Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites for functional and non-functional requirements across acceptance and deployment stages.
- Integrate automated testing into feature development and CI/CD pipelines while maintaining an approximately 80% automation ratio.
- Perform automated UI testing, exploratory testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, sanity testing, and incremental application testing.
- Develop and execute automated tests for web services, backend services, and application functionality.
- Apply and refine test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria, including coverage of edge, corner, and boundary cases.
- Debug code, troubleshoot issues across application layers, and perform root cause analysis for defects and performance issues.
- Support performance, load, and stress testing and identify application bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, development managers, business analysts, product owners, and distributed testing teams.
- Maintain knowledge of ComLIMS-Quotation, its underlying models, and the team’s processes and practices.
- Provide regular updates to the Team Manager and build effective relationships with IT and non-IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of software testing experience with a strong focus on automation and proven manual testing skills.
- Thorough understanding of acceptance, regression, sanity, exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing.
- Proficiency in test automation using object-oriented languages such as Java or C#.
- Experience with UI automation using tools such as Selenium or JavaScript frameworks such as WebdriverIO.
- Understanding of REST web-service patterns and ESB queuing patterns, with the ability to test them through automation.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for integrating testing into development.
- Ability to extend and refine acceptance criteria and troubleshoot application issues across multiple layers.
- Hands-on exploratory testing experience and experience performing defect and performance root cause analysis.
- Preferred experience with BDD tools such as SpecFlow/Reqnroll, JBehave, or Cucumber.js.
- Preferred scripting experience with PowerShell, Shell, or Bash.
- Preferred experience testing DDD-based backend services and using Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or Jenkins.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript or TypeScript frontend test automation.
- Preferred experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling for performance, load, and stress testing.
- Preferred experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Fluent English and conversational Vietnamese; Mandarin or French proficiency is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed, multilingual teams.
