Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manual testers to review test cases and determine which requirements are suitable for automation.
- Work with developers to assess acceptance criteria and identify automation opportunities.
- Create and maintain test plans, regression test scripts, test documentation, and defect reports.
- Provide testing estimates and participate in project planning to align QA efforts with delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and support web, mobile, API, web services, and performance testing.
- Use AI tools to generate and review test cases and test scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct R&D into AI/ML-enabled testing, including self-healing tests, automated test generation, prompt engineering, defect prediction, visual AI testing, and LLM-powered log analysis.
- Evaluate new testing tools and technologies and address user feedback to improve end-user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Information Technology or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of automation testing experience with Playwright and Appium.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience applying AI tools to QA workflows.
- Experience with Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for test script generation and review.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Anthropic, plus prompt engineering for test cases, BDD scenarios, or test data.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts relevant to QA, including self-healing tests, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
- Hands-on Playwright experience and familiarity or willingness to work with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Azure pipelines, performance testing tools such as K6 or Locust, JIRA, Agile SDLC practices, Microsoft Visual Studio, Postman, Git, SourceTree, SQL Server, and relational database concepts.
- Intermediate spoken and written English communication skills, product mindset, critical thinking, adaptability, and willingness to lead automation testing initiatives.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with N8N, Flowise, Applitools, Percy, TestRigor, Mabl, agentic testing, or custom LLM and test-runner integrations.
