Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate Azure infrastructure for the globally deployed Qubit Fulfillment Platform.
  • Own infrastructure-as-code, deployment pipelines, release orchestration, automation, and environment provisioning.
  • Establish DevOps tooling, standards, and best practices across product squads.
  • Design and operate CI/CD pipelines and gradual multi-service deployments.
  • Manage global, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure and applications in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Implement observability, centralized logging, incident management, on-call support, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud-based processes and infrastructure challenges.
  • Provide architecture guidance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and execute with minimal oversight.
  • Mentor engineers and review infrastructure and pipeline work produced by others.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in C# and Python, plus PowerShell or Bash scripting.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible, and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and routing.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and protocols including SSH, HTTPS, IPsec, and AAA.
  • Experience with 24/7 global applications requiring high availability and uptime.
  • Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and release automation, ideally with Azure DevOps, CircleCI, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Experience with observability and centralized logging tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Experience managing Linux and Windows environments and global multi-tenant cloud infrastructure and applications, ideally with PostgreSQL and Elastic Cluster.
  • Experience with distributed systems and fundamental algorithmic concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to establish DevOps standards, provide architecture guidance, and work independently.
