Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated API, integration, and end-to-end test strategies.
- Build and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and test tooling.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate cloud services, APIs, networking behavior, distributed-system interactions, data consistency, and failure handling.
- Test deployment, upgrade, connectivity, long-running usage, load, and stress scenarios.
- Debug issues across cloud, backend, and networking layers using logs and observability tools.
- Validate authentication, authorization, and access-control behavior.
- Use AI tools to generate test cases, improve automation, evaluate outputs, and debug issues.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers on quality standards and release criteria.
- Provide bug reports with reproduction steps, logs, and impact, and drive improvements in QA processes and automation coverage.
Requirements
- Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end test strategies for cloud or distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on Python experience for building automation frameworks and test tooling.
- Experience with Pytest, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, and VPN.
- Ability to perform API and backend validation, including token, session, and OAuth authentication flows.
- Strong debugging skills across cloud services, networking, and backend systems.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve test design, automation, and debugging workflows.
- Strong ownership and ability to drive issues to resolution.
- Preferred: hands-on AWS knowledge including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM, especially for networking, security, and service integration.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale SaaS or distributed systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools, OAuth, and SSO.
