Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design, develop, document, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable Java-based enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Build frontend and backend components using Java, React, HTML5, CSS, Spring Boot, APIs, and database technologies.
- Develop microservices, event-driven services, cloud-native applications, and RESTful or GraphQL implementations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leadership, and Agile software delivery teams to achieve sprint goals and technical strategy objectives.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to support code quality.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Analyze performance and coding issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement defect resolutions, and manage technical risks and escalations.
- Define and improve technical standards and streamline or automate recurring architecture, build, delivery, and operations processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience, specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, object-oriented principles, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native development.
- Experience developing both frontend and backend components using Java, Python or similar languages, React, HTML5, and CSS.
- Comprehensive SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience with relational database management systems, particularly Oracle.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with REST and GraphQL.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift; AWS experience is advantageous.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Practical experience with GitHub Enterprise and awareness of AI tools and evolving AI development practices.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery and Scrum environments.
