Responsibilities
- Identify manual and repetitive processes and transform them into automated solutions.
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize scripts, tools, and workflows using AI technologies and automation practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for tools and automated processes.
- Promote secure, responsible, and effective use of AI solutions across localization workflows.
- Administer localization platforms and supporting databases, including user access, maintenance, upgrades, backups, and performance monitoring.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting localization systems and services.
- Maintain and enhance existing internal tools and projects.
- Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, and Localization teams.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders on process improvements and efficiency gains.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in localization engineering, automation, systems support, or a similar technical role.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience designing and implementing automation solutions that reduce manual work.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and technologies for practical automation solutions.
- Working knowledge of databases and database management concepts.
- Experience with localization platforms, translation management systems, or CAT tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Preferred: experience with memoQ, including server administration.
- Preferred: knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Preferred: experience with Azure, Git, and enterprise-scale localization environments.
