Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate REST APIs for geospatial workflows.
- Develop and execute functional, integration, and automation tests for API capabilities.
- Advocate for user needs within the software development team.
- Participate in project planning and contribute to scope definition and timelines.
- Coordinate and communicate API features and updates with internal teams.
- Certify REST API features prior to product release.
- Write and maintain API reference documentation and developer guidance.
- Present API features and design decisions at internal meetings and conferences.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing, testing, and validating RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of REST, web services, and HTTP concepts.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise or similar geospatial technology.
- Ability to write clear and developer-friendly technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field.
