Responsibilities
- Develop modern Angular applications to replace legacy AngularJS portals.
- Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET backend services and REST APIs for distributed compute workloads.
- Modernize legacy platform functionality while preserving business continuity.
- Migrate workloads toward Azure Container Apps and containerized applications.
- Support Infrastructure as Code implementation using OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Modernize deployment pipelines and release automation, including CI/CD and zero-downtime deployment improvements.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and software engineers.
- Participate in production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and an on-call rotation.
- Contribute to platform scalability, maintainability, reliability, and operational resilience.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong experience with C#, modern .NET, and ASP.NET.
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and willingness to work with OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and understanding of Clean Code and software design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and collaborative cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure Batch, OpenTofu or Terraform, Playwright, SQL Server, Redis, SignalR, cloud-native platforms, and modernization of legacy enterprise applications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, learning, and continuous-improvement skills.
