Base Salary

$123k - $193k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, optimize, and support high-performance, low-latency services for B2B Scores projects.
  • Lead cloud architecture and DevOps strategy using AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design collaboration, and project ownership.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Data, and Product Management teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Use approved AI coding assistants for scaffolding, test generation, refactoring, code ports, and documentation.
  • Maintain and upgrade product source code, write product specifications, document features, and present technical information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of relevant software development and delivery experience.
  • Strong coding skills in one or more of C, C++, Java, or .NET/C#; Python or Groovy experience is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience with AWS services such as ECS, IAM, EKS, S3, Lambda, and API gateways.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, and NgRx.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering and LLMs such as Claude Code.
  • Software architecture experience with modern design principles, MVC frameworks, abstract factory, design patterns, class diagrams, and ER diagrams.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, database concepts, SQL/PostgreSQL, SQL and NoSQL queries, Git, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with maintaining and upgrading product source code, writing specifications, documenting features, and presenting to audiences.
  • Experience with Agile, test-driven development, and test automation is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically diverse team.
