Responsibilities
- Build successful client relationships throughout the assigned territory in collaboration with an Account Executive and Senior Solutions Architect.
- Conduct hands-on customer evaluations using Spark programming and integrations with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
- Engage customers and the technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Advise customers on Big Data Analytics architecture and design.
- Author reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Develop technical and pre-sales capabilities toward independently operating as a Solutions Architect.
Requirements
- Familiarity working with clients, creating narratives, answering customer questions, aligning agendas with important interests, and achieving tangible outcomes.
- Ability to independently deliver technical propositions, identify customer pain points, explain business value, and develop trusted-advisor relationships.
- Ability to code in a core programming language such as Python.
- Knowledge of a core Big Data Analytics domain, including exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept.
- Understanding of a major public cloud platform.
- Experience with solution architecture and Data Engineering.
