Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners to lead and govern requirements analysis and software design activities.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to produce accurate design documentation for software components.
- Identify design deficiencies and lead prioritized remediation plans.
- Provide architectural decisions and guidance to unblock development teams.
- Monitor compliance with architectural guidance and mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members.
- Identify inconsistencies in design patterns, technologies, and tools and coordinate remediation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with broad and deep professional software engineering expertise.
- Advanced working experience with data structures, algorithms, software design, design patterns, architecture patterns, and quality attributes.
- Advanced software modeling skills across information, process, state, security, logical, and physical architectural views.
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle processes from product conception through deployment.
- Direct development experience across two or more technology stacks.
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, persuasion, influence, and consensus-building skills.
- Experience mentoring and coaching technical team members is preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, decision-making, presentation, and time-management abilities are preferred.
- Experience working effectively with external partners and customers is preferred.
- Ability to translate business goals and functional requirements into innovative design solutions is preferred.
