Responsibilities
- Develop traditional and serverless applications and services in a collaborative environment.
- Integrate applications with data storage services, message buses, and other architectural components.
- Deploy applications using containers and cloud services, supported by CI/CD and production observability.
- Create documentation and apply unit, integration, and contract testing.
- Address accessibility, security, performance, and caching requirements.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and deliver small to medium-sized pieces of work.
Requirements
- A few years of industry experience with one or more of Java, TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS; Azure or GCP familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or Pulumi.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.
- Strong coding capability in accessibility, security, performance, and caching.
- Preferred experience building NoSQL datastore solutions, including Elasticsearch.
- Ability to apply analytical and creative thinking to technical solutions.
- Strong debugging, leadership, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Any employment offer requires satisfactory SC security clearance, including five years of continuous UK address history.
