Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, enhance, implement, test, debug, install, and support application systems.
- Use scripting tools and analyze and interpret code to identify required system enhancements.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Resolve technical and non-routine issues using acquired experience and professional judgment.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and review outputs to ensure quality and standards.
- Own assigned decisions and deliverables while supporting timelines, compliance, and business outcomes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience or proficiency with .NET.
- Experience or proficiency with Java.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
