Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance application systems and programs in coordination with technology teams.
- Analyze requirements, interpret code, and recommend and implement programming solutions.
- Install, support, test, debug, and troubleshoot application systems.
- Identify application vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to resolve issues and support system delivery.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and provide oversight of execution where required.
- Manage deliverables, quality, timelines, risks, and follow-through within the assigned area.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an Applications Development role.
- Experience with QA leadership, front-end development, back-end development, testing, Oracle, and Ab Initio.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
