Base Salary
$164k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end development of complex product features.
- Lead multi-engineer efforts, breaking down problems and defining scope.
- Design and build scalable systems across backend services and frontend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact features.
- Contribute to technical design decisions balancing performance and maintainability.
- Mentor and support other engineers to improve team velocity and code quality.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents outside regular hours.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade software.
- Experience owning projects or major features end-to-end.
- Strong backend development experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React or React Native.
- Experience with transactional databases and caching systems.
- Strong collaboration skills with product managers and designers.
- A mindset focused on impact, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in fintech, lending, or regulated domains is a strong plus.
