Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of complex application enhancements.
- Provide production support and maintain application service levels, availability, performance, and quality.
- Develop and maintain Informatica-based solutions, including Master Data Management match rules and data quality initiatives.
- Participate in the full system development life cycle and comply with Highmark IT standards and policies.
- Collaborate with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to define requirements and technical solutions.
- Provide technical support for releases, on-call operations, and 24x7 support when required.
- Participate in project roles such as Developer, Technical Lead, and Project Manager.
- Communicate project status, conduct technical walkthroughs, enable vendor solutions, and maintain documentation.
- Mentor less experienced team members and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a developer is required.
- Experience with project management tools, databases, and multiple coding languages is required.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, Informatica SaaS MDM, Informatica CDI and CAI, Informatica REF360, and on-premises Informatica tools such as IDQ, MDM, and PowerCenter is preferred.
- Experience with Master Data Management principles, MDM match rule development, and data quality initiatives is required for the role.
- Problem-solving, root-cause analysis, issue-resolution, leadership, and technical communication skills are required.
- Healthcare or health insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and certifications such as Java Developer, DB2, or Cognos certification.
- Candidates must be US citizens working onshore due to contractual and access requirements.
Benefits
- Candidates within 50 miles of the Pittsburgh or Camp Hill campuses are expected to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday; candidates outside that radius are fully remote.
- The position is office-based with 0%–25% travel and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Annual base salary range is $86,400 to $138,600.
