Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilience strategies and Circuit Breaker mechanisms to protect outbound traffic between applications and maintain service stability.
- Develop SDKs, services, and APIs in Go, Java, or both for high-criticality distributed systems and microservices.
- Analyze performance and reliability signals and adjust traffic-management solutions involving proxies, routing, load balancing, HTTP, and TCP.
- Lead technical initiatives using AI-assisted software development tools from beginning to end.
- Work autonomously while maintaining alignment with the technical lead.
Requirements
- Experience in backend development, distributed systems, and high-criticality microservices.
- Experience with Go, Java, or both languages.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development.
- Interest in or knowledge of traffic management, proxies, routing, load balancing, resilience, Istio, or equivalent technologies, and Circuit Breaker strategies.
- Ability to learn quickly, work outside one’s comfort zone, and operate with autonomy.
