Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support distributed software applications.
- Deliver engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and develop applications and platforms using cloud-native and microservices architectures.
- Work with client engagement teams to transform business problems into engineering solutions and provide recommendations on technology and client-service issues.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality systems and support excellent customer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field.
- Residence in Chile and fluent English proficiency.
- At least 5 years of experience in technology software development.
- Backend development experience with Java 8, 11, or 17, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, microservices, serverless technologies, and AWS or Azure.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs using formats or tools such as WADL, Markdown, YAML, or JSON.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and container deployment.
- Experience with collaborative development tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks and tools, with knowledge of Test-Driven Development or Behavior-Driven Development techniques.
- Preferred experience with Akka, Scala, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Spark, Flume, MongoDB, Cassandra, Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, and Angular CLI.
