Responsibilities
- Rework core user workflows, improve architecture, and raise reliability and observability across a large C++/Qt/QML application.
- Integrate and harden subsystems connecting PreForm to 3D printers and cloud services, including exposing capabilities through a developer API.
- Implement mesh processing, support generation, build-plate packing, and high-performance rendering for complex scenes.
- Work on profiling, memory management, build systems, CI, and developer tooling.
- Lead projects when needed and collaborate with remote stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with C++ or another low-level language such as Rust, or with Clojure or Go.
- Ability to architect reliable systems and work effectively in a large, evolving codebase.
- Strong focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability.
- Comfort with cross-functional collaboration and ambiguous product problems.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work across technically varied challenges.
- Experience creating automated software build systems is a bonus.
